These special boob/bottle/diaper/crying-friendly yoga classes will be offered to moms of all fitness levels - with or without yoga experience - and their babies until they are crawling.
Our goals:
• To help ease the aches and pains of baby feeding and baby wearing
• To regain your mobility and independence following the drastic changes that occur during pregnancy and birth
• To down-regulate your nervous system and your baby's, to develop tools to do this outside of yoga class
• To meet with other mamas and share your ups and downs in a safe space.
• To mindfully bond with your new baby
Classes generally follow the following loose structure: Welcome / check-in / safe space; Breathing & seated warm up; Seated Pelvic floor rehab; Gentle abdominal rehab; Pick up the babies! Standing poses with baby; Sing to the babies or massage the babies; Last few stretches / cool down; "Savasana", mama version
